99 Reasons
Well, it was a fun season. Although I am not happy with the final results, at least we made the playoffs. We got decent pitching tonight, but the offense was nonexistent with runners in scoring position. What the hell happened to Rodrigo? 0-12 is unacceptable and he will have some splainin' to do next year. And what about Alfonso. Flying out to end the game was only fitting. Lou did a lot in his first year and there is something to look forward to. Now, all we need is another starter (Prior?) and I'm sure having A-Rod at short will help. :)

My condolences on the end of the season...Soriano looked about the same as the last time he was in the playoffs...oh and you can have Arat
Well my dear....I'm sorry your Cubbies lost. If it's any consolation, I really wanted them to win for you. You guys did have a great season...and we went to some fun games!! However, not to worry. I'll always root for my Southsiders, and that is what you love about me...among other things!
Uh, sorry babe, I will never love the fact that you are a sox fan. However, I will always appreciate the fact that you put up with my (and Wrigley's) obsession with all that is Cubs.
You should respect and LOVE the fact that I'm not a bandwagon fan...and love me for that. Once again, on top of the hundreds and thousands (and perhaps millions) of other reasons.
Hey, what can I say, I'm lovable. :)
She is lovable.
Yes, it was a fun season. And to know that we were 8 1/2 games out (not really that long ago either) makes it a little more palatable in regard to things. Always waiting for the other shoe to drop, right?
'Rodrigo' was horrible. He didn't even look like he was there. Felt bad for DLee and Derosa, as they genuinely looked like they felt bad. Mahrmole is way too inexperienced in that setting too. He's got some of the best stuff I've seen in a long time, but he hangs them out there a lot too... and in the postseason you'll get tattooed for doing it... which is exactly what happened.
Ah well. As the motto goes... wait until next year.
*and I don't think Arod is the answer
That was certainly a disappointing series. John and I went to games one and two out here and it was just one disappointment after another... We agreed that they didn't look like they even wanted to be there and they certainly didn't play like they deserved to be there either.
Unfortunately, I am going to have to temporarily root for the Dbacks, since I have a shot at actually going to a world series game. We already have tickets to to game one of the NLCS.
It was certainly an exciting season and as they say... there's always next year.
Mahrmole? Is that some sort of dip? Last I checked it was M-A-R-M-O-L. I forgive you this time, but don't let it happen in the future.
Hey there trigger finger, I was continuing the 'Rodrigo' thing.
You didn't hear the announcers butcher Marmol's name? A couple of times they pronounced it Mairmole, a couple times it was Mahrmole, and a few other times they were stressing the second syllable.
What should we expect from a network that puts Chip on for a NLDS game? I would've rather listened to Dutchie. Hell, I would've rather listened to Brenly. At least he would've gotten the names right.
Easy there Tiger. I'm not sure why old Chippy Boy is calling the games either. At least we get to listen to Stony for some of the games.
